I made an inspirational quote for a zine submission. Whenever I hear the word "weenie" I think of those tiny hot dogs, so small and so unfilling.

I wanted to give this guy more personality. I used my sumi ink to give it more textures.

Original Character

I was looking at color scheme and at the same time  I was browsing though Garfield comics and I said "you know what, I like Garfield colors..." And that is how this person colors came to be. The girl was going to be used for something else but it ended up in my sketch book forgotten. Not anymore.

Movie doodles:Ponyo

In the Miyazaki flim,Ponyo which is a goldfish that fell in love with a boy. There was these water blob creatures that looked interesting to draw. So I made this. The texture is related to the dirty water in the flim.

Illustration Friday: Tension

It isn't Friday but I wanted to post up my late submission on this week theme tension. I been watching my boyfriend's niece and nephew argue;the typical sibling arguments. This drawing is loosely based on them,when I mean loosely they don't look like that in the illustration. However, I captured their real facial expressions.
