It's back

After a long wait my portfolio website back up and running! Graphic designers I must say, you guys deserve all the love with the intense coding and redirecting. So much hard work hidden away from plain sight but your work is for sure made with sweat and sleepless nights!

After making an edgy goofy I had to make a punk sailor moon. I watched that show so much as a kid, rerun after rerun. That show never got old to me. During my childhood I frequently drew her . I haven't drew her in years so it was pretty fun and nostalgic . 

Haters be trying to steal her crystal so in the name of the moon she will punish you.

Sketch and color

I quickly drew my friend Oat as she was talking to her husband. I didn't want my sketch to go to waste and be unnoticed so I scanned it for the world to see.

Another doodle I drew when I was drawing a friend. One of these days I am going to turn this into a zine full of friends.

goofy remixed

That anticipating on the new PlayStation 4 has been going around.  Normally I don't play that many games unless at the PC but there is one acceptation,the new Kingdom Hearts. Out of main characters, Goofy  is my favorite. Sorry Donald and Sora maybe next time.  I decided to change his style , reminds me of an 80' high school outfit.

I made an inspirational quote for a zine submission. Whenever I hear the word "weenie" I think of those tiny hot dogs, so small and so unfilling.

Original Character

I was looking at color scheme and at the same time  I was browsing though Garfield comics and I said "you know what, I like Garfield colors..." And that is how this person colors came to be. The girl was going to be used for something else but it ended up in my sketch book forgotten. Not anymore.

Movie doodles:Ponyo

In the Miyazaki flim,Ponyo which is a goldfish that fell in love with a boy. There was these water blob creatures that looked interesting to draw. So I made this. The texture is related to the dirty water in the flim.

Illustration Friday: Tension

It isn't Friday but I wanted to post up my late submission on this week theme tension. I been watching my boyfriend's niece and nephew argue;the typical sibling arguments. This drawing is loosely based on them,when I mean loosely they don't look like that in the illustration. However, I captured their real facial expressions.

So a friend of mines wants to call me a drunk. Well in my drawing, she's a drunk. How do you like them apples???

Office supplies

I drew office supplies in a neat manner. I experimented with a simple to the point artwork. I am a bit of a neat freak so when you see my desk, I put my art and office supplies in a fitted space.( such as this drawing) I couldn't make the scissors because I didn't like that the holes in the scissors created negative space. I wanted to fill the page up as much as possible.

A submission piece for a zine. Its been a while since I did hand done lettering and I did pretty well if I say so my self. I still need more practice!

Another warm up for the day. I doodled this English Bulldog because I love the creases and wrinkles on their body. I gave it a quick color splash so now it has more life to it.

 What is LINE play some of you may ask? It is a mobile game on the Android and Iphone that allows you to connect with other users by chatting on them online,sending them gifts and visiting their house. When you visit a house you have options to eat,clean,sit , take a bath and sleep. When doing so you earn some gems which allows you to buy cloths, furniture  and accessories.

Hey everyone, still working on this Brandon Boyd piece. I am going to do the background  but I wanted to show everyone my limited color choices that is on the left side of the drawing. 

Warm up

Whenever I do not have enough creative juices flowing I tend to do a warm up drawing. For a week, I been nostalgic on bands that were playing their hit songs in early 2000s. Today, I have forgotten how relaxing Incubus' music were so I was jamming out to them. From listening to a majority of their songs here is a drawing on the lead singer Brandon Boyd. Yes. it is an old photo on his youth but that's what I remember him as a young teenager.

I assure you this is not a cheeseburger. This is a donuts top with sprinkles, orange fruit roll up, chocolate ice cream, cut strawberries, sliced kewi, with marshmallow fluffy and finally bottom donuts bun. I can feel the diabetes running in my vein.

This is Pyro. He is a curious kid that always exploring the wilderness. Although he is very bright ,Pyro has a timid personality. He doesn’t say much but when he does everyone always eager to hear what he has to say!

The hot topic in the news is the talk about Christopher Dorner. This is my personal responds on the corruption going on not only in our law enforcement and government but in our world. Normally I do not ever give my personal opinion or talk about politics but the silence has gone long enough.

Valentine day card

Valentine day items tend to have typical items such as hearts, candy, sweets , chocolate and so on. I went looking at the gifts usually given for that special day and I found a bunch of things. The color scheme has a nostalgic feel with a soft humor added to it. 

bacteria!

Sorry everyone, I have been busy working on commission pieces, and personal works for myself. I made this bacteria character designs due to it being flu and cold season. Everyone around me has gotten sick. For a little while I thought i dodged the sickness with my Lysol  hand sanitizer,bundling up from the cold and so on. Once everyone around me stopped getting sick I finally caught it the other day. Enjoy this piece!
